Two Weeks

It’s been a little over two weeks of being married!

The wedding went off without a hitch and the our families have finally met. We’ve been together 10 years as of this last October and this is the first time everybody was all together. It was really nice. The morning was a beautifully brisk and everybody was in attendance that I really wanted to be there. It did go by like a blur though. My friend David (@MurderDice) kept reminding me of that and to also to be in the moment. #BestAdvice

Travis & I wanted a small wedding. Only immediate family and close friends… we had less than 20 folks and it was just perfect. We all gathered back at our house for a lunch catered from RJs Bob-B-Que that is right up the road a bit.

My best friend of 30 years made it as well as two newer friends from Michigan who are going to be in my life forever. I cannot even imagine not knowing them.

After the wedding when all of the guests had left, Travis & I packed all of our camping things (including the doggo) and headed of to Pomme de Terre state park in Missouri for a little off season camping. We stayed for three days and everything was pretty smooth. A bit chilly but with the help of the fire and some good snuggles we kept warm. Oh.. yeah and the heating blanket. We camped in a tent but had electric at the site so we took an electric blanket for the nights. Tuco our doggo very much appreciated that as he is not much of a camper.
