C to the V along with D&D

It’s been a crazy world the last several weeks. After the incident while searching for toilet paper at several stores with rolling my ankle…. and injuring myself in other ways, the state of the city has just went downhill. Yesterday the mayor of KC announced that a shelter in place/stay at home order is being put in place for 30 days. It officially starts up Tuesday.

Last week my office worked pretty hard to get everybody set up on work from home. Thankfully I have a good PC set up at home which made It pretty easy on me. Some others not so much. Work originally though we’d be doing this for may a couple of weeks but now it loos like it’s going to be for a month.

I’m more than okay working from home for a month… pretty sure that Travis & I have enough goods to see if through the next few weeks. The groceries will still be open on shortened hours and so will the pharmacies. It’s kind of turning into a ghost town.

The thing that reeeeally gets me are the people who are panic buying up all of the food. For fucks sake, we all need to eat an you stockpiling all of the food isn’t helping anybody. All of that bread you are hoarding is just going to mold and you’ll have to throw it out… when another family that wasn’t able to get a loaf will have to go without because of your selfishness.

All I really hope for right now is that the selfish assholes out there leave the next shipment of toilet paper and perishables alone.

BUT on the upside of everything, my Return to Greyhawk D&D group is finally meeting back up tonight after a bit of a hiatus! We’ll be picking up where we left off in the crazy intense story IN 10 MINUTES!
