Post Bday

Oh hai. What a trip the last almost two weeks have been. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My birthday went by mostly unnoticed except by a few close folks, it was neither fantastic nor terribly amusing. I honestly can’t say that I’ve ever had a birthday “for the record books” and I’m pretty okay with that. I was hoping for somehing more this go around the sun since it was (as least what I consider) to be an important birthday. The more I think about it, I guess I am kind of bummed about how events turned out (or didn’t). Can’t be helped sometimes and that’s just how it went this year. Aside from that, I did take time off from work and had the house to myself (and the pets) for almost a full week as Trav was travelling for work during this span. I did need the relaxing solitary to kind of reset my brain. It’s always pretty noisy in this house. It was nice to not have the mental load of taking care of the house that time and just focusing on taking care of me.

I have been semi-diving back into world bulding in D&D. It was great for a bit until I hit a wall and just couldn’t write again…I haven’t been abel to since, well, the start of the month. I know, I know. Everyhthing is connected and I might as well pack my things back away until improvements are made and it feels okay again.

Sorry for being vague but that’s the best I got right now. 😒
