Bellaboo Pinktoe

About 6 weeks ago now my sweet little Bellaboo had pyometra surgery done to remove all of her lady bits. She’s been recovering very well since. I was pretty worried as she’s going to be 12 here a couple of months. Since the surgery, she’s had this lump on her neck… and I know it’s had to have been there before but I honestly don’t know how long. We have another vet appointment next Tuesday. Which seems very far away. I’ve turned into a helicopter parent around her. I seriously try not to and try to back off when I realize that I’m doing it but it’s so hard. She’s my little baby kitten (who is neither a baby nor a kitten anymore) and I’m nowhere near ready to lose her. I’ll never be ready… who ever is. So, I’ve just been pretty upset about that lately and keep telling myself I’m being silly. All I can do is make her life the best it can be until the end.
