Slacking? Maybe.
It’s been pretty busy the last several days as it always seems to be when we get to mid December and headed to Christmas and NYE. Not that I’m planning any big parties or anything. It’s just navigating all the people that want to do things. Anymore, I’m a big “no parties” kinda gal. 😅
It’s a short work week for the both of this this time around, Friday we’re off for the Holiday and the following Monday as well and as per usual, we’ll be seeing the families. I thought we might be seeing more of the family but not quite sure about all the driving I suppose?
This year the the good sister is coming to visit this week a long with her husband and two children. All are very well behanved for the most part…well, maybe not the husband! 🤣
It’ll be the first time I’ll be cooking for them and the course is going to be Shepherd’s Pie. Like, OG with the lamb and everything. I’m pretty excited. It’s a big mean and I’m not known for being able to scale back meals like that and make it for just two yet. Maybe in the future but not likely… it’ll just be leftover city for awhile.
It’s supposed to be snowing today… should have started over an hour ago but theres nothing out there yet. not a single little flake. We’ll see if we get anything. it could just be running behind? It was listed as an all day snow from 6am - 3pm.
Well, I think that’s about all I have this morning. Hopefully my eggs will be done soon and then I can relax a bit before starting up with work.
Oooh, I do have one more thing. I’ve been participating with the imgur secret santa for the last 3 years and I think this is the first year that I get bunk. I could be being a bit ahead of myself but today is the last day to that you’re supposed to have to ship out and provide notification that it’s shipped… nothing yet. I got mine out for the person I was giving to and she alreayd received it too. She actually wasn’t that far away either.
I’ll keep hoping that something with arrive… I’m not exactly sure how the backup gifting thing works if I happen to need one. Just a bit of a bummer that is.
