overdue update

I’ve been feeling quite guilty about not sharing an entry recently, but the captivating whirlwind of world-building for my homebrew D&D campaign has completely absorbed and immersed me. It has finally reached a spectacular point, and our long-awaited first session is set for next Saturday! Yes, the excitement is definitely palpable, but it’s a double-edged sword that slices right through this bubbling exhilaration. Alongside the exhilarating creative chaos, my actual job has intensified into a whirlwind of madness and stress. Ugh. This relentless pace has drained so much of my energy that it has made it difficult to tap into any creative flow for my personal goals regarding the campaign.

Adding to this delightful cocktail of chaos that I call my life, there's some family health issues…. I don’t want to dwell too much on this, it a bucket full of stress that I’ve chosen to push aside for now. I know, I know, it's really not the healthiest coping mechanism, but hey, if it works for now, right?!

Despite all of this, I am still incredibly enthusiastic about the amazing adventure I’ve carefully crafted, and I hope that amidst the stress and chaos, I'll be able to orchestrate a fantastic and unforgettable first session. Here’s hoping for a sprinkle of magic amid the madness and a dash of good fortune!
